To support deeper formation and engagement leading into the conference, the Association of Theological Schools and McCormick Theological Seminary are hosting a four-part webinar series exploring key themes connected to the gathering.
These conversations will provide opportunities for learning, reflection, and practical insight around trauma, resilience, leadership, healing, and theological formation while helping participants prepare for the conference experience.

Mapping Resilience - Using Life Course Trajectories to Navigate Trauma

This webinar will focus on life course trajectory mapping and the topic of post-traumatic growth.
Beverne Corder, of Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, will introduce life course trajectory mapping and suggest ways that it can be used by individuals whose lives have been shaped by trauma as well as institutions that support them. Brian Clark, of the Spiritual Life Center, will talk about his experiential understanding of posttraumatic growth and the role that contemplative spirituality and the practice of Spiritual Direction have played in his own journey of healing. David Wang of Fuller Theological Seminary will moderate the session.
